Antique lamp "Terpsichore"
Antique lamp with sculptural composition. The base is made of porcelain, there is a lampshade. The central part of the composition represents an impromptu scene with a canopy held by cupids. Inside, a girl with a harp sits among the columns, surrounded by playing putti. So often portrayed one of the ancient muses Terpsichore, the patroness of dance. Behind the muse and cupids is a blue background, which also depicts putti. This technique gives the composition additional volume and enhances the theatrical effect; Europe, XX century.
