Gama Sennin in Japan is a toad. Sennin (sage) - in Japanese mythology, a Taoist who achieved immortality; the very definition was borrowed from China, from alchemy, which dates back to the 10th century. They are mountain hermits who had a human appearance, mastered magic, and knew the structure of the world. Sennin was popularly known as a healer and medicine seller. More often you can see a toad with him, who told him the secret of gaining eternal life when, as a result of long practices, he began to understand the language of animals. In Japan, having a sennin symbol next to you means having a long, healthy, fulfilling life. Also, the Sennin figurine gives the owner wisdom, which was originally inherent in the image of the celestial. The sky carp is the personification of endurance, thanks to which it can one day become the highest manifestation of strength and wisdom - become a dragon.
