Bulgaze is a technique for creating bubble glass. The mold for the workpiece has spikes through which air is supplied to the future recesses of the product. The same effect is achieved by immersing hot glass in the oven immediately after water. Bullicante is a type of bulgaze, when repeated bubbles of the same size are obtained by applying an additional layer of glass.
