Antique Imari vase. Porcelain, hand-painted underglaze and overglaze painting with enamel paints. Japan, the twentieth century is marked. The neck of the vase is decorated with pagodas, chrysanthemum flowers, floral ornaments, and a turtle, one of the four main symbols of Asian culture. The body of the vase is also decorated with the "flowers and birds" theme, which is the main one in oriental art. The central medallion is decorated with an image of a chrysanthemum flower, the main symbol of Japan, and peacock figures, which, being associated with the mythical phoenix bird, represent immortality.
