The history of the Wallendorf porcelain factory dates back to 1764, when it was founded in Thuringia, Saxony. This was a period when the European porcelain industry was flourishing and the demand for high-quality porcelain had reached its peak. The factory was established by Johann Wolfgang Hammann, who succeeded in assembling an excellent team of artisans and artists.
