He began working and studying ceramics at the age of eleven. In 1946 he began his collaboration with the famous Bitossi ceramic workshop. He subsequently became the art director of this Italian company. He created collections of ceramics with extremely rich colors and irregular shapes. The Londi style promoted the production of new, high quality handcrafted items.
