Andrei Mikhailovich Lanskoy (1902 Moscow - 1976 Paris) was an abstract artist. He was born into the noble family of Count Mikhail Mikhailovich Lanskoy. In 1921, he emigrated to France and settled in Paris. He participated in exhibitions of Russian artists at the Paris Salons and held solo exhibitions. Influenced by Vasily Kandinsky, he gradually moved toward abstraction and became one of the most renowned masters of abstract painting of the 20th century. His works are in museums and private collections worldwide and are highly prized by art collectors.
