The vintage vase is made of porcelain and decorated with a decal and hand-painted. The master who created the background pattern used the principle of a continuous stem with buds of different colors and delicate leaves extending from it.  They are decorated with traditional paintings in the style of 花, "huanyao" — "flowers and birds". The inscription on the body of the vase "玉堂富貴" (Chinese pinyin "yutang fugui") is an encrypted wish for well—being and in most sources translates as "May your noble house be blessed with wealth and honor."
