A vertical wall scroll depicting the dragon god Ryujin. Rudzin, or Watatsumi-no-Kami, is the lord of the water element, the god of the seas and the patron saint of sea creatures. Ryujin lives in a crystal palace at the bottom of the sea, where he keeps his countless treasures and manages the entire marine world.
