Initially, such round bronze items were mirrors. One side was decorated with a relief pattern, and the other was polished. Depending on the personal experience and inclinations of the mirror maker, a grindstone ground into powder was used to polish the mirrors. But then they began to perform a purely decorative function, and the reflective side began to be covered with wishes and favorable words.
