Antique statue of the walking Buddha. Bronze, patina. Asia, the twentieth century. A walking Buddha is one of the representations of a Buddha who is dressed in a simple monastic robe, with long earlobes, which once had heavy earrings of the prince, and a bun on top of his head. The Buddha walks with his right foot raised, his left hand resting on the ground, and his left hand at chest level, which means enlightenment and blessing. His body is in balance.
