Antique vase on a ceramic stand with scenes from the Japanese Noh theater depicted on it. The vase is decorated with signs for good luck, wealth and health, an actor's mask and a samurai helmet with deer antlers. Shinroku is the offspring of a sacred white deer; killing him was considered a great sin. In the city of Nara, deer have the right to roam wherever they please. Painted with polychrome, gold paint.
