Antique sculpture "Dog Fo". It is made of ceramic and blue glaze. It is a figure of a fantastic animal on a pedestal — a dog (lion) Fo. China, the twentieth century.
The dog Fo is the personification of male (in this case) energy. Usually the male individual presses the globe to the surface. A dragon is depicted on the globe, a symbol of wealth, happiness, strength and health.
